Bi-annually, DSW hosts its International Investors' Conference jointly with BETTER FINANCE. The Conference especially addresses foreign institutional investors and other organisations from all over the world.
The next International Investors' Conference ‘Europe at a crossroads - are we still competitive?‘ will be held on 10 December 2024 in Wiesbaden, Germany.
We are honored to welcome an outstanding lineup of speakers, including Natasha Cazenave from ESMA, Alexandra Jour-Schröder from the European Commission or Stefan Simon, Management Board member of Deutsche Bank.They, along with many other distinguished experts, will guide our discussions on how to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Past events
In line with the topic "European Capital Markets Union – Update & Future" investors, board members and other financial market participants discussed the present status of the CMU and looked ahead to the next steps necessary to reach a real CMU. Furthermore, topics like boardroom transformation and performance as well as investor activism from the investor and the company perspective were intensely discussed at this unique conference.
Keynote speeches were delivered by Verena Ross (ESMA), John Berrigan (EU Commission), Deborah Sturman (Motley Rice/Sturman), and John Feldmann (Kion Group).

On December 2nd, 2008, DSW held its 6th International Investors' Conference in Wiesbaden. The Conference united institutional investors, company representatives, analysts and other professionals to discuss Corporate Governance-related issues, e.g. the need for a shareholder vote on directors' pay as well as the 'dream' of a European class action or the new demands of the new investors.

On December 6, 2006, DSW held its 5th International Investors’ Conference at the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden/Germany.
’Who is responsible? Shareholder Responsibility vs. Corporate Responsibility ’ covered recent developments in this field in Germany and abroad.
